Revit family Halfen HTA rail - Joint problems

I wanted today, just another publishing Revit family . Here I am, however, encountered a problem that can be somewhat explained in more detail.
First of all the family at stake. Halfen channels type HTA are always needed in the preparation of sound plans. I set this here today, ready to download. In these types, I developed the rail as linear meters. This should be the definition the length be exemplary in the project. This can be implemented with a line component.

A small flaw remains. Since the rail or the other on a component (wall, ceiling Support is placed), it is only partly visible. We would have to implement an additional joint in the component.
For walls we could with the tool joints, and ceilings with a generic insert manually trigger the body afterwards. For columns and beams, this is not possible at this time. Here, a joint can be realized even in the family.
As this meant a considerable effort, I have already integrated the joint directly in the half rail. This is possible by an area-based model template is used. However, it is also a part of the functionality of stretching lost.
